On Friday 13th June, Embu College marked Cultural Day at the Embu College grounds, the day is a major event that celebrates the diversity of the student body. Since Kenya is made up of many different ethnic groups, each with its unique customs, languages, music, and art, Cultural Day is an opportunity to showcase and celebrate this diversity. Activities on display included: Traditional Dances, Music Performances, Fashion Shows/Traditional Attire and indigenous dishes, this also presented a chance for students and staff to sample foods they might not have tasted before from different communities. The day culminated with an electrifying Fresher’s night.
