On Saturday 21st June, Our Peer Counselors spent the day at Salem Rescue Center in Ruiru spreading warmth, sharing stories, and reminding the rescued that they are never alone. Led by EC Counselor Rev. Lilly Muchangi the group integrated with the less fortunate in an environment filled with love, peace, and hope. Established by the late Pastor Julius Wang’ombe and his wife Tabitha, the center aims to restore hope and transform the lives of abandoned, orphaned, and vulnerable children in Kenya by providing shelter, rehabilitation, and opportunities for reintegration.
